Operation zone air

One of the most important parameter of the working place is the element composition of the operation zone air. Maximum permitted concentrations of the elements are strictly specified in various hygienic norm in many Countries. Over concentration of some elements in air may lead to serious problems with heath for the personnel.

Air analysis with X-ray fluorescence method consists of dust sampling with filter and aspirator and further analysis of obtained filter in a spectrometer.

The advantage of the method is total absence of sample preparation, as well as wide range of determined elements from one filter.

XRFA can determine elements from Mg to U on a filter from the operation zone area. The choice of elements is determined by the specific features of the production and existing sanitary norms.
The method sensitivity is from n*0,01 mg/m3, that provides determination of all elements under control.
